Job Overview

Hull Lift Truck, Inc. is actively seeking a Dispatcher to enhance our operational efficiency. This position is pivotal in managing the deployment of service technicians to client locations for the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment.

This role operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a work-life balance with no evening or weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by consistently exceeding client expectations.
  • Handle incoming customer service inquiries efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance appointments with both clients and technicians.
  • Ensure timely and effective dispatch of technicians to service calls.
  • Oversee the dispatching process to optimize operational costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize GPS and routing software to maintain an optimally dispatched team of skilled technicians across the designated service area.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding service call statuses, including start times and any delays.
  • Manage work orders in real-time, ensuring team members have access to the latest information.
  • Track and manage parts orders necessary for job completion to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Assist in processing service quotes and ensuring their completion.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service is essential.
  • Experience in dispatching, automotive parts, or the material handling sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and billing software is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and customer needs simultaneously.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Possess active listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance.
