Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team at Emerging Blue Jobs. As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be responsible for selling our product lines at the retail level, building strong relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, qualify, and sell to retail partners whose merchandise needs can be filled with our product lines.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve territory revenue objectives.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
Requirements
  • Outside sales experience selling business-to-business, preferably in the gift industry.
  • Understanding of the sales process, including needs assessment, qualifying accounts, and contracting.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to customer needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience with independent retail and regional key accounts.
  • Sound decision-making skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include occasional lifting and carrying of catalogs, samples, and computer equipment, as well as travel in the field for customer visits and trade shows.
