Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our Heavy Equipment Division at Herc Rentals. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business relationships with companies and individuals within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow revenue through daily visits to customer job sites and offices
  • Develop a network of potential clients and maintain regular contact through phone and internet
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve desired results and goals
  • Maintain and exceed sales quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis
  • Understand customer needs and market conditions to provide effective solutions
  • Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base
  • Support all team members to achieve sales goals
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the heavy equipment and/or construction markets
  • Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
  • Proven computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
