We are seeking a seasoned Director of Business Development to join our team at NW Recruiting Partners. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding client relationships across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute growth strategies to drive revenue across regions and profit centers.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell services and enhance client value.
- Lead strategic bids, driving best practices and ensuring high-quality submissions for large-scale projects.
- Develop and manage the pipeline, coordinate bids, write proposals, and oversee the bid development process for framework call-offs and new work.
- Provide coaching on the pursuit process for major new client opportunities.
- Research target sectors, prospective clients, and decision-makers to guide revenue strategy.
- Engage with clients through meetings, pitches, and contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in the consulting construction industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in Business Development/Generation.
- Proactive, quality-driven, and hands-on leader who can manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior management.
