Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Area Director, Business Development will be responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives for our assigned market. This role will require strong leadership and strategic planning skills to align market strategies with regional goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives
  • Lead a team of clinical liaisons to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and referral sources
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate referrals and admissions
  • Develop and implement sales management tools and processes
  • Provide coaching and training to clinical liaisons to drive results
  • Assess and hold team members accountable for performance and productivity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare/post-acute marketing, sales and business development
  • Management and leadership experience over a sales team
  • Formal sales training
  • Demonstrated understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers as related to LTACH benefits
  • Demonstrated competence in strategic business planning and design of marketing initiatives
What We Offer
