As a Senior Partner Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive significant revenue growth through the collaboration with AWS Partners.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivering customer value by aligning Partner capabilities and solutions with the needs identified by field sales representatives and their teams. Additionally, a successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to thrive by collaborating with cross-functional teams, strategically addressing business and technical challenges, and effectively communicating compelling value propositions surrounding Partner capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your extensive responsibilities will encompass defining and implementing strategies to achieve objectives for both the Partner and Sales organizations, establishing robust business and technical relationships with Partners, Sales teams, and Customers, and overseeing daily interactions among these entities to create opportunities that ultimately provide value to AWS Customers.

You will be expected to:

  1. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the AWS Partner ecosystem in local and regional markets, along with a deep knowledge of Partner capabilities and solutions that will enhance the experience for AWS customers.
  2. Advise Sales teams and engage with customers to highlight the benefits of Partner collaboration and recommend qualified Partners that can fulfill AWS customer requirements.
  3. Oversee Partner engagement within AWS accounts, focusing on business outcomes to expand the existing AWS presence while initiating new Customer collaborations with Partners to drive overall revenue growth.
  4. Establish yourself as a trusted member of the Sales team to develop and execute a cohesive Partner/Sales strategy, manage opportunity execution with Partners, leverage Partner programs, and mentor Partners on strategic approaches and best practices.
  5. Collaborate with Partner Solution Architects (PSAs) and Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to ensure effective engagement with their managed Partners in local markets, driving solutions that yield successful outcomes.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in field sales combined with partner engagement experience with a software, cloud, or technology vendor, working directly with Partners and Sales teams to create business and technology outcomes for Customers.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Sales representatives and managers, solutions architects, Partner and direct marketing, business development, and other functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Consistent achievement of key performance metrics.
  • Ability to formulate and execute strategic plans and initiatives with Partners, Sales, and other internal and external organizations.
  • Successful engagement and influence with senior executives and strong familiarity with decision-making processes within enterprise Customer organizations.
