Sodexo is seeking an experienced Custodial Operations Manager to oversee our Environmental Services at a prestigious university. Your expertise will be crucial in helping our clients enhance their operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion safety protocols and practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and perform inspections, providing feedback on team performance and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure a clean and secure environment for clients, customers, visitors, and staff.
  • Utilize tools and equipment correctly, including chemicals and floor care machinery.
  • Develop action plans to address identified deficiencies.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Lead by example as a hands-on manager.
  • Provide guidance and support across all shifts.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances with critical thinking.
  • Manage inventory and supply levels responsibly, ensuring fiscal accountability.
  • Effectively utilize Sodexo's SMS and other operational systems to track custodial supplies and inventory.
  • Work independently to ensure compliance within the custodial department while motivating a diverse team through shift supervisors.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and develop a team that meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in custodial or housekeeping management.
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Experience managing projects within set timelines.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on solutions.
  • Strong team-building and employee engagement capabilities.
  • Attention to detail with robust quality assurance skills.
  • Proficient in technology, including web-based tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
