About the Role

The Custodial Supervisor is a key member of the Denver Rescue Mission team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the custodial services department. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train a team of custodians to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of custodians to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of custodial supplies and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our facilities.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that our facilities are safe and secure for our residents and staff.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff and residents to ensure that our facilities are meeting their needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise in the custodial services department.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a custodial or supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification and knowledge of safety protocols.
