Position Overview
This role is situated within the Environmental Management Services Division of a healthcare facility dedicated to serving veterans. The incumbent will operate under the direct oversight of the Housekeeping Supervisor or their designated representative. The primary responsibilities encompass a variety of janitorial and custodial tasks.

Eligibility
This position is open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or individuals who have allegiance to the United States.

Key Responsibilities
The Custodial Services Specialist is responsible for executing a comprehensive range of cleaning duties in both patient and non-patient areas, which include but are not limited to:
1. **Floor Maintenance**: Conducting sweeping, dust mopping, damp and wet mopping, scrubbing, stripping, refinishing, buffing, vacuuming, and extracting carpets and runners.
2. **Surface Cleaning**: Washing walls, cleaning doors, doorframes, baseboards, and stairwells to maintain a hygienic environment.
3. **Restroom Sanitation**: Ensuring that all restroom facilities are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies, including paper towels and soap.
4. **Waste Management**: Emptying trash receptacles, replacing liners, and transporting waste to designated collection areas.
