Overview

This role encompasses the broader regions of Maryland and Delaware.

As a representative and primary liaison to our clients, a Regional Sales Executive (RSE) will engage with our customers to inform, train, and convert business opportunities. Presentations will be made to Clients and Contractors/Builders. The goal is to meet established company sales and growth objectives while fostering positive and profitable relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the WSC RSE include (but are not limited to):

Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Boost sales within your region by implementing personal and corporate sales strategies.
  • Regularly engage with existing clients to nurture relationships and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of customer programs within your territory, overseeing each initiative from inception to completion and providing consistent updates to the Regional Manager.
  • Enhance revenue with current clients by acting as a solutions provider, continuously promoting existing product lines, and introducing new offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects.
  • Encourage and facilitate increased usage of our online platforms (Storefront/Configurator).
  • Conduct presentations and educational sessions for dealers.
  • Participate in sales meetings, customer events, contractor gatherings, trade exhibitions, and other assigned functions.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Regional Manager on a regular basis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all sales reports, utilizing the CRM system to document and monitor the sales process.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments (warranty, customer service, and accounting) to enhance the customer experience.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and Safety Observations to achieve company objectives.
Qualifications

A WSC RSE should possess and/or demonstrate the following abilities:
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve set sales targets.
  • Exhibit professional conduct towards all internal and external stakeholders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • General understanding of residential construction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills essential for developing and maintaining relationships that lead to increased sales of our key products.
  • Utilize electronic expense reporting tools on a daily basis.
  • Reliable internet access in a home office setting is required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle, ready to fulfill job responsibilities.
Education / Experience:
  • High School Diploma, College Degree, and/or 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of sales reporting software is advantageous.
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills.
Reports to: Regional Manager

Working Conditions / Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods due to travel demands of the position.
  • Must possess a Motor Vehicle Record that meets auto insurance standards.
  • Flexibility in working hours is necessary as travel occurs weekly, including some overnight stays.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
