Remote Opportunity from Home Office in the Baltimore, MD Area

The Territory Sales Executive will play a crucial role within a collaborative team, focusing on customer retention through proficient account management strategies. This position merges account oversight with the pursuit of growth opportunities within our established client base. As a vital sales role, it necessitates effective management and execution of a territory strategy, comprehensive ownership of all single-family segments, and collaboration with colleagues and leadership to seamlessly onboard new accounts. The incumbent will be part of a team of territory sales representatives, collectively driving regional sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with key identified customers in designated regions and safeguard our business interests.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the existing customer base, collaborating with growth representatives to ensure successful account transitions.
  • Assist customers in their transition to James Hardie products by removing obstacles and fostering a positive experience throughout the process.
  • Leverage CRM tools to make informed decisions that promote year-over-year volume growth.
  • Conduct market segmentation analysis to evaluate and assess opportunities, leading all facets of the customer sales process while utilizing additional resources for solution development and implementation as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to build relationships, expand networks, nurture leads, and actively seek out new targets.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company offerings, customer programs, and associated benefits.
  • Analyze and interpret data effectively to inform decision-making within the market.
  • Capable of hosting, leading, and presenting to large audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a high-touch sales environment.
  • Proven success in an account management capacity.
  • Ability to convey construction expertise and knowledge effectively at job sites.
  • Strong sales orientation and understanding of the sales process.
  • High level of organization, discipline, and self-management.
  • Proficient in building relationships at all organizational levels and in various environments.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% out of market.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
