Position Overview

Innovative Chemical Products Group (ICP Group) stands as a premier formulator and manufacturer of specialized coatings, adhesives, and sealants tailored for the construction and industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee our operations in the Virginia, DC, West Virginia, and Maryland regions. This role is pivotal in nurturing and managing relationships with distributors and contractors within the designated territory, focusing on our roofing and waterproofing product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with contractors and commercial sales teams at distribution points to enhance sales performance.
  • Conduct regular visits to distribution partners to assess product sales, inventory levels, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with external sales representatives to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Support ICP corporate initiatives and strategies.
  • Organize and deliver monthly training sessions for contractors and distribution partners.
  • Facilitate in-person product knowledge classes.
  • Build and sustain relationships with distribution sales teams.
  • Plan and execute distribution contractor events.
  • Follow up on special order quotes and purchase orders.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets aligned with company goals.
  • Work closely with Gardner-Gibson management and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the sales management team.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or a related field.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of client relationship management strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively communicate the unique features of products and services.
  • Proven capability to position products competitively.
  • Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
