Department: Food and Beverage

Reports to: Food and Beverage Department Manager

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in enhancing food and beverage operations through regular team discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety standards established by Fun Spot Theme Parks and relevant state and local regulations.
  • Communicate any potential food safety issues to the appropriate leadership.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the Food and Beverage Manager, assisting with operational procedures and reports.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction in dining areas.
  • Promote accountability, appearance standards, safety practices, and exceptional service within the Food and Beverage Team.
  • Coordinate daily activities and objectives with managers on duty to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in managing schedules for the Food and Beverage Team to meet operational requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Support performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and assist in training team members to achieve the same.
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure proper handling of food and beverage items.
  • Support the maintenance and operation of food service equipment and facilities.
  • Uphold protocols for staff position coverage to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

  • Adherence to Fun Spot America Theme Park's drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.
  • Pass food safety handlers certification testing.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Visual acuity.
  • Tolerance of temperature fluctuations.
