Job Overview

Position: Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor

Role Summary: The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily functions of restaurant, banquet, and bar services. This position focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences while meeting established Food & Beverage objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily activities of the restaurant, banquet, and bar sections.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house Food & Beverage personnel.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and disciplinary measures as necessary.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate banquet functions, including setup, service, and teardown.
  • Develop and maintain employee work schedules on a shift basis.
  • Engage in various Food & Beverage operational tasks as required.
  • Ensure adherence to alcohol service regulations.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a safe and responsible working environment.

Supervisory Duties: Directly manage all front-of-house Food & Beverage staff, including Cashiers/Hosts, Bussers, Food Servers, Bartenders, Barbacks, Cocktail Servers/Beverage Servers, and Banquet Staff. Responsibilities encompass hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; some employers may prefer additional education.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
