The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor is tasked with embodying the brand promise across all resort recreational amenities and dining establishments. This role acts as a guest advocate and primary advisor to senior management, overseeing the operations of resort activities, food & beverage services, and retail departments. Success in this position is gauged primarily through guest feedback collected during and after their stay, focusing on the quality of amenities and engagement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule team members.

• Develop Performance Development Plans (PDPs) and provide ongoing coaching to enhance guest engagement delivery.

• Analyze staffing needs and performance metrics to optimize results.

• Collaborate on department engagement strategies, talent reviews, and succession planning.

• Lead with a brand-centric approach, utilizing guest feedback to foster relationships and drive improvements in satisfaction.

• Ensure the fulfillment of special requests from guests, including VIPs and repeat visitors.

• Cultivate a brand-focused culture where team members understand their roles and are motivated to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• Model brand behaviors consistently in all business aspects.

• Support the execution of well-defined activities and entertainment strategies developed by others.

• Implement and uphold guest engagement standards that create enjoyable experiences for families.

• Enforce safety and security protocols for guests, team members, and resort assets in line with company policies and regulations.

• Maintain partnerships with third-party vendors regarding contracts and performance standards.

• Assist in the formulation of departmental budgets and resource allocation to meet financial objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven ability to anticipate and resolve complex issues in a dynamic environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Minimum age of 21 with at least four years of driving experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED required; a four-year college degree is preferred.

• At least two years of experience in customer-facing service or hospitality roles.

CERTIFICATIONS:

• ServSafe Certification

• Life Safety Certification
