Job Overview

The Automation Support Analyst (Systems Coordinator) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive support for In-lab/Process Area Manufacturing (MFG) data systems and apparatus essential for GxP operations.

The ideal candidate is an engaging individual with a keen eye for detail and some familiarity with diverse laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with Lab System Owners, IT Teams, and Management.
  • Maintain the Regulatory Asset Management systems inventory, including lab equipment, PCs, software, and other relevant information.
  • Facilitate daily project-related communications with the team.
  • Ensure compliance by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, and Work Instructions.
  • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Manage user account setups and password resets within a controlled clean room or MFG environment.
  • Address non-change control break-fix issues.
  • Execute Change Controls and perform like-for-like replacements, such as hard-drive cloning.
  • Assist with Preventative Maintenance as needed.
  • Support PER requests, SOP Field Testing, and SLC Review.
  • Contribute to investigations and assist with software upgrades and onboarding of new equipment.
  • Occasionally provide backup support for the On-Call Support rotation.
Essential Skills:

Strong customer service abilities, complemented by excellent listening and interpretation skills for client requests.

Professional demeanor, outstanding listening capabilities, superior analytical skills, and effective verbal and written communication are essential.

Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technological issues and managing time independently to meet objectives is required.

Ability to identify, track, and complete tasks for multiple projects within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Alternatively, 2-3 years of relevant professional system support experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with scientific instrumentation in controlled environments is recommended.
  • Two years of experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:

Must be capable of remaining stationary for over 25% of the time and frequently walking within various process areas.

Some travel may be required between sites.

The individual in this role must occasionally navigate inside and outside of labs that necessitate clean room training and gowning for classified areas.

Regular operation of instruments, tools, or controls will involve bending, squatting, and stretching.

Frequent use of computers and other office machinery is expected.

Specific vision abilities required include the capacity to observe details at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to perform essential functions.
