Job Overview

RTA US is currently seeking a Laboratory Computing Specialist to support our scientific and research operations.

Employment Type: Contract/Onsite

Compensation: $23-$27/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes advanced technical skills to deliver specialized support for computer and data center operations.
  • Installs, configures, and troubleshoots both server and non-desktop computer systems and software within a centralized computing environment.
  • Ensures data integrity, access control, and file system security within the computing infrastructure.
  • Monitors and documents system performance and utilization metrics.
  • Effectively communicates complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proposes enhancements to processes, hardware, and software, including recommendations for new acquisitions and upgrades to optimize efficiency.
  • May engage in the development of IT and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborates with internal and external clients, working alongside Professional Services and outsourcing teams.
  • May involve the implementation of company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Entry Level – Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
  • Experience in laboratory support is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer navigation.
  • Experience with documentation and data entry.
Technical Skills Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with clean room protocols.
  • Background in administrative services.
  • Helpdesk experience, particularly in troubleshooting.
