Overview:
As a pivotal Client Manager at GBA, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead client service teams, drawing from the diverse talent within our firm. This role offers enhanced leadership prospects through increased visibility in the marketplace, direct client interactions, and strategic account development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the strategic vision of GBA by taking on a crucial Client Manager role.
  • Maintain GBA's technical expertise at the forefront of client and business relationships to effectively market our innovative project delivery methods.
  • Engage with large, complex municipalities and private clients to address their unique needs through a thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
  • Become an integral part of a team focused on expanding our private and municipal practices, with sales goals ranging from $500K to $5M.
  • Enhance client accounts and promote the full suite of services offered by GBA.
  • Provide consultation to clients and project teams, serving as a vital link between both parties.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to develop written proposals, presentations, and budgets.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of service delivery.
  • Foster account relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to create compelling offerings and positioning materials.
  • Participate in sales meetings and ensure timely project invoicing for client accounts.
  • Focus on identifying opportunities early to position GBA for success.
  • Attend conferences and workshops to strengthen existing relationships and establish new ones.
  • Exhibit a commitment to serving and leading within a dynamic team environment.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the account management team.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in market execution and management is required. A Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or a related field from an accredited program is preferred. Proven experience in the industry is essential, along with the ability to lead business development efforts, including bid and proposal initiatives.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as a desire to grow the organization and motivate others. A comprehensive understanding of the business development cycle specific to consulting, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and presentation, is crucial.


Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel within the U.S. to client and company facilities up to 30% of the time.
