Overview:
Blue Yonder is on the lookout for a driven and results-oriented professional with a solid history of success in renewal processes, demonstrating consistent growth and portfolio enhancement among existing clients.
The ideal candidate will leverage their SaaS sales expertise to work collaboratively with our Blue Yonder teams to renew contracts and expand our clients' engagement, ultimately boosting our revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
The selected individual will possess a comprehensive understanding of the renewal lifecycle, strong negotiation capabilities, and the aptitude to effectively communicate our business value.
Key responsibilities include managing renewal objectives, cultivating relationships, and guiding clients through the preparation, negotiation, and management of subscription renewals. This is essential for maintaining and enhancing customer relationships while setting them up for sustained success and maximizing financial outcomes for Blue Yonder.
Key Duties:
Safeguard the value of Blue Yonder's offerings by proposing advantageous terms and driving incremental revenue through a data-informed approach to identify expansion and upsell prospects.
Lead and manage the renewal process in conjunction with customer success and account management teams to maintain and enhance client contracts and relationships.
Develop strong connections with designated tier 1/2 clients.
Organize daily tasks based on account and portfolio needs. Formulate a long-term renewal strategy that effectively meets the requirements of both the client and Blue Yonder.
Maintain and present an accurate 12-month rolling forecast along with anticipated close dates for the assigned portfolio.
Gain a thorough understanding of client consumption data and future plans in collaboration with the triad account team to emphasize the value of the services provided.
Engage proactively with key executive decision-makers to enhance their perception of the value Blue Yonder delivers and ensure service adoption.
Identify at-risk clients and devise strategies to mitigate potential attrition based on market trends, client business operations, and insights gained through relationships.
Work with the account team to implement mutually beneficial negotiation strategies that align with client needs, guided by relevant internal departments and management.
Responsible for developing mutual action plans (MAPs) as necessary, outlining the milestones required to successfully meet or exceed expected close dates.
Adhere to Blue Yonder's best practices for internal processes, including renewal agreement management, data integrity, quotations, and forecasting.
Accountable for executing the commercial contract renewal process and reviewing renewal agreements to ensure compliance with Blue Yonder standards.
Achieve or surpass customer renewal revenue targets while optimizing pipeline conversion.
Assist the Billing team with collection efforts.
Demonstrate the ability to present and engage effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in Sales / Renewals / Account Management, primarily within a SaaS environment.
Proven success in managing a high volume of renewals.
Expertise in contract negotiation, customer footprint expansion, and SaaS renewals.
Experience collaborating across functions to deliver client-facing quotes/proposals/contracts.
Background in scaling organizations in a high-growth context.
Ability to prioritize and organize activities and escalations effectively.
Demonstrated experience in forecasting and consistently achieving or exceeding quota targets.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
Solid financial and analytical acumen with a sales-oriented mindset.
Familiarity with Salesforce/Apptus or other CRM systems is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $105,262 - $132,738. This range reflects the anticipated base salary based on current national data. Individual salaries may vary based on skills, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors.
Additionally, this position is eligible for participation in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, depending on the nature of the role.
