Job Overview:
The Personal Banker plays a crucial role in supporting both current and prospective clients with a variety of financial products and services. This pivotal sales and service position is responsible for generating new business opportunities and enhancing customer relationships by effectively communicating the advantages of HR Partners' offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and promote the advantages of HR Partners' financial products and services to both potential and existing clients to foster new business and reinforce current relationships.
  • Facilitate the opening of banking accounts, manage loan applications, address client inquiries, perform account maintenance, and guide clients through banking processes.
  • Achieve designated sales targets set for the branch.
  • Engage in daily branch operations, which may include opening and closing procedures, vault balancing, maintaining internal records and audit logs, managing safe deposit box requests, performing teller duties as necessary, and executing other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience, including cash handling, is necessary.
  • One (1) year of experience in the banking sector is strongly preferred.
  • Six (6) months of sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to changes in procedures and technology.
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures related to consumer deposit and loan products.
  • Exhibit professionalism and composure; possess strong sales acumen; contribute positively to a motivated work environment; monitor key details and prioritize effectively; maintain a goal-oriented approach.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently needs to sit, stand, and walk. Some light physical effort is required, including the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

Travel Requirements:
Travel is primarily local during business hours, primarily for the purpose of covering shifts at different branches. Occasional evening travel may be necessary for training purposes.

Work Environment:
This position operates within a professional office setting. The role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
