As a manufacturer's representative, you will drive sales by engaging with an established network of distributors and seeking new business opportunities by reaching out to end-users (e.g., hospitals, universities, restaurants) within your designated territory. Your daily activities will include:
- Collaborating professionally with colleagues to enhance productivity and harmony within the company.
- Evaluating customer inquiries and business opportunities, negotiating solutions related to service, quality, pricing, and representation.
- Connecting various aspects of customers and the marketplace to identify needs and solutions.
- Proactively gathering and reporting market and competitive intelligence regarding Dart products.
- Effectively addressing customer inquiries related to service, quality, and pricing.
- Maintaining account information in a CRM system and attending occasional trade shows, meetings, and events.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Residence in the metropolitan area.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales within the food service, paper distribution, or a related field.
- A designated home office workspace.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet navigation.
