Responsibilities

Cultivate Relationships. Identify, develop, and execute location strategies for large, intricate organizations. Generate new opportunities within high-profile accounts and strengthen existing relationships. Engage in and present at industry events, workshops, and seminars. Comprehend Customer Needs. Exhibit advanced knowledge of the industry and its implications for GIS applications. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers within organizations, gaining access to executive-level decision-makers. Navigate complex customer budgeting and acquisition processes. Pursue Continuous Learning. Clearly communicate the strengths and benefits of Esri technology in relation to the Telecommunications sector. Regularly conduct research and engage in professional development to maintain competitive knowledge. Utilize innovative presentation skills to enhance visual storytelling. Achieve Results. Proactively manage the account management and sales processes for all opportunities to meet revenue targets. Continuously assess work contributions to address customer needs effectively. Collaborate Effectively. Lead account strategies through consistent collaboration with teams across Esri and its business partners. Actively share knowledge and mentor team members. Demonstrate motivation and resourcefulness while taking the initiative to resolve challenges.

Requirements

Proficient understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the Telecommunications sector and their interrelations. Extensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry, network management, emerging technology trends, and the ability to translate these into comprehensive solutions for clients, including wired and wireless service providers, telecom engineering, and design services. Minimum of 5 years in enterprise sales or relevant consulting or program management roles. Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation skills across all organizational levels. Proven experience managing the sales cycle, building partnerships, and establishing trust with large clients. Strong financial and business acumen to develop compelling account growth strategies. Familiarity with industry fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement cycles. Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time. Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.

Recommended Qualifications

General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and its application in problem-solving and identifying patterns and trends within organizations. Enthusiasm for collaborating with Esri partners to create co-selling strategies that best support our clients. Master’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
