Responsibilities

Cultivate Relationships. Identify, develop, and execute location-based strategies for large, intricate organizations. Generate new opportunities within high-profile accounts and strengthen existing relationships. Represent the company at trade shows, workshops, and seminars. Comprehend Customer Needs. Exhibit advanced knowledge of the industry and its implications for GIS applications. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers within organizations to connect with executive decision-makers. Navigate complex customer budgeting and procurement processes. Pursue Professional Growth. Clearly communicate the advantages and capabilities of Esri technology in the Telecommunications sector. Engage in continuous research and professional development to maintain competitive insights. Utilize your innovative presentation skills to enhance visual storytelling. Achieve Outcomes. Proactively manage account and sales processes for all opportunities to meet revenue targets. Regularly assess your contributions in relation to customer needs. Collaborate Effectively. Lead account strategies through consistent collaboration with various teams across Esri and its business partners. Share knowledge and mentor team members actively. Demonstrate motivation and resourcefulness, taking initiative to resolve challenges.

Requirements

Strong understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the Telecommunications industry. In-depth knowledge of the telecommunications sector, network management, and emerging technology trends, with the ability to translate these into comprehensive solutions for clients. Minimum of 5 years in enterprise sales or relevant consulting/program management roles. Proficient visual communicator and negotiator at all organizational levels. Experience in managing the sales cycle, forming partnerships, and establishing trust with large clients. Strong financial and business acumen to devise effective account growth strategies. Familiarity with industry fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement cycles. Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time. Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.

Recommended Qualifications

General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and its application in problem-solving and identifying patterns within organizations. Interest in collaborating with Esri partners to develop co-selling strategies that best support our clients. Master's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
