Position Overview
The Vice President, Account Director is tasked with overseeing one of our largest client accounts, ensuring financial health and profitability while actively mentoring and developing team members.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the client relationship for the designated brand.
2. Develop and execute brand strategy, effectively guiding the client towards achieving their objectives.
3. Participate in and may lead new business initiatives.
4. Oversee staffing, management, and leadership of the assigned account team.
5. Understand the agency's revenue and profitability model, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
6. Own the revenue and forecasting for the brand, negotiating budget requirements and contributing to fee development.
7. Continuously seek to enhance agency services and internal resources.
8. Keep management updated on account status, challenges, plans, and meetings, involving senior management as necessary.
9. Lead both the integrated agency team and the client.
10. Provide guidance on agency policies and practices, advancing best practices in agency processes.
11. Mentor and develop team members.

Knowledge and Skills
1. Approach brand management from a comprehensive marketing perspective.
2. Integrate new technologies into client recommendations.

Client Relationship Management
1. Own the client relationship for assigned brands.
2. Effectively present and advocate for the creative output to the client.
3. Maintain outstanding client service and build strong relationships.
4. Proactively manage client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
5. Showcase agency work to current and prospective clients.
6. Be recognized as the primary contact for senior clients.
7. Exhibit excellent presentation skills and adaptability to various corporate cultures.
8. Resolve client issues and navigate complex conflicts with sensitivity.

Qualifications
1. Proven experience in healthcare professional engagement.
2. Preferred experience in biologics.
3. Channel-agnostic with experience in at least two functional areas: professional, consumer, digital, PR, medical education, etc.
4. Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
5. Strong multitasking abilities.
6. Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness.
7. Commitment to self-development.
8. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
9. Required experience in pharmaceutical advertising.
