Position Overview
The Client Relationship Manager will oversee the designated territory and surrounding areas assigned for a specific market.

Key Responsibilities
Establishes and nurtures relationships with store managers and personnel to meet defined short and long-term performance goals at designated retail locations within a geographic area.

Responsibilities focus on comprehensive sales coverage, including the swift introduction of new products, adherence to schematics, pricing assessments, promotional selling, and product merchandising, all aimed at generating additional sales volume.

The ideal candidate is a driven individual who will effectively represent our clients and promote their products in Natural and Specialty retail environments. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of organization.

In-Store Duties
- Promotes and sells display programs to independent natural retailers purchasing from our distributors.
- Increases quantities for display and temporary price reductions based on outlined programs through distributors.
- Cultivates relationships with store managers and buyers through outstanding communication and follow-up.
- Secures distribution and placement of new client products at independent natural retailers.
- Identifies and addresses product voids.
- Merchandises manufacturer products to achieve optimal shelf placement.
- Participates in retailer resets as needed.
- Conducts audits and pricing surveys in stores as requested.

Communication
- Reports competitive and market activities to management.
- Utilizes provided technology to document results.
- Sets and reviews performance metrics with the Sales Manager.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in the Natural Food Industry is preferred.
- Must have adequate home space for storing samples required for this role.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members, peers, management, and external clients.

- Basic proficiency in Office applications (Outlook, Excel) is required, including managing Outlook email and calendar, as well as basic Excel workbooks.

- A valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, and the ability to drive for extended periods are mandatory.

- Must be physically capable of performing essential job functions, including crawling, climbing, standing, pulling, bending, kneeling, pushing, walking, and repetitive motion tasks, with the ability to lift weights up to 25 lbs.

This position requires driving on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing, and any DUI/DWI conviction within the past 36 months will disqualify the candidate.
