Job Summary:

As a Relationship Development Manager at the Bank of Southern CA, you will be responsible for managing overall loan and deposit relationships with customers. Your primary goal will be to grow revenues as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationship Management: Retain and expand relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Prospect for and close new business relationships, leveraging your knowledge of bank products and services to capitalize on all opportunities.
  • Revenue Growth: Grow net revenue year over year as directed by Senior Management, developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Credit Management: Recommend appropriate client risk rating and manage credit quality, ensuring that all lending decisions are sound and compliant with bank policies.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer problems and act as a liaison with other departments to ensure that the customer experiences the highest level of service and support.
  • Product Development: Develop and implement relationship strategies for cross-selling bank products and services, satisfying customer requirements by providing a full array of loan, deposit, cash management, and other appropriate bank products.
  • Compliance: Actively ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Ethics and all Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other programs as required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to foster and sustain collaborative work relationships within the bank.
  • Business Acumen: Strong relationship management and business development abilities, well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Education and Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of commercial lending experience, with a broad knowledge and experience in banking operations, product, and services.
