Key Responsibilities- Food Quality and Presentation: Ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Menu Development: Work with our Director of Food and Beverage to create and implement new menu concepts that meet the needs of our guests.
- Staff Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to our culinary team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional food and service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of food and beverage supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and materials to meet our culinary needs.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control food and labor costs to ensure that we are meeting our budgetary targets.
- Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner to ensure that we are meeting our high standards of service.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our food and beverage operations are in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Experience: At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or resort culinary environment.
- Education: Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of culinary professionals.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health and safety regulations, and inventory management.
