We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Southernmost Beach Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our resort's culinary expertise.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to create and implement culinary strategies that drive revenue growth and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
