Role Overview:

The Dispensary Associate, reporting to the Dispensary Manager, is responsible for supporting all daily operations within the dispensary, contributing to a patient-focused team, and achieving company objectives. This role involves adhering to company policies and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with and educate patients in a friendly manner
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient intake forms
  • Assist in qualifying patients for financial assistance programs
  • Maintain compliance with local and state regulations
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including record-keeping and correspondence
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding patient experiences
  • Maintain accurate records related to patient intake, cash handling, and waste disposal
  • Participate in daily briefings to align on goals and messaging
  • Deliver exceptional and compassionate patient service consistently
  • Engage in monthly inventory assessments

Training & Development:

  • Ensure all patients receive a warm and helpful greeting, making every interaction a positive experience
  • Stay informed on HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
  • Become proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale systems
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and proper dosages
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local laws among team members
  • Review and update educational materials for patients
  • Participate in quarterly team meetings

Sales & Business Development:

  • Analyze daily sales and best practices to meet targets with team members
  • Receive training on patient services, including intake processes and product knowledge
  • Engage in daily briefings to ensure consistency in messaging
  • Provide excellent and compassionate service to patients

Company Culture:

  • Act as a brand ambassador for iAnthus, representing the brand positively
  • Build relationships with community leaders and foster trust within the community
  • Adhere to iAnthus's core values of respect, diversity, sustainability, research, and service
  • Follow and implement the cultural principles of iAnthus
  • Maintain the dispensary's aesthetic in line with the iAnthus brand
  • Participate in a motivated team environment

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or patient services is preferred
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math proficiency
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment
  • Strong organizational and decision-making capabilities
  • Computer literacy is essential; POS experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check as per state guidelines

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per day with rotating shifts
  • Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repeatedly throughout the workday
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to use a ladder and general tools for minor repairs
  • Willingness to work in various conditions, including exposure to fumes, dust, and noise

Compensation:

$17 per hour, plus cash tips.
