Position Summary

We are seeking dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Associates to enhance the Equinox experience at our premier locations. This role is ideal for candidates eager to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and evolving organization.

The Shop Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience to all visitors. They will collaborate with the Shop Manager on business strategies and action plans to maximize productivity while adhering to company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Shop Associate will assist in the efficient completion of operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall store goals.
  • Provide an unmatched customer experience for all visitors to the Shop and Equinox.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products.

Operational Excellence:

  • Consistently uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies.
  • Ensure understanding of all communication and training materials, assisting the Shop Manager with timely completion of operational tasks.

Product Presentation:

  • Support the Shop Manager in ensuring that the Shop reflects the company’s brand standards through effective merchandising and marketing execution.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on the sales floor, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.

Professional Development:

  • Foster effective relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Stay informed about general standards and practices across departments to promote teamwork.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures, supporting company initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively and diplomatically at all levels.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Ability to follow directions effectively.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and diligence.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to embrace new techniques and ideas.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the retail business.
Physical Requirements:
