Position Summary

We are seeking dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Associates to enhance the Equinox experience at our premier locations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a substantial impact within a thriving organization.

The Shop Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience to all visitors. This role involves following the direction of the Shop Manager on business strategies and action plans to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Shop Associate will assist in the timely and accurate execution of operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

• Meet and exceed assigned monthly sales targets (individual contribution to overall store objectives)

• Provide an unparalleled customer experience for all visitors

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all club and shop services, programs, and products

Operational Excellence:

• Consistently uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies

• Ensure understanding of all communication and training materials, assisting the Shop Manager with timely and accurate completion of operational tasks

Product Presentation:

• Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop reflects the company’s brand standards through effective merchandising and marketing execution

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on the sales floor, at cash registers, and in stockrooms

Professional Development:

• Foster effective relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients

• Stay informed about developments and standards in other departments to promote teamwork and camaraderie

• Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures, supporting company initiatives

• Communicate effectively and diplomatically at all levels

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Ability to follow direction
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a retail environment
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and integrity
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to adopt new techniques and ideas
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the retail business

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, sitting, and walking

• Squatting, bending, and reaching
