Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Product Manager plays a crucial role in:

  • Acting as the Product Owner for designated industry solutions.
  • Defining solutions and preparing the development backlog.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to align on market needs and product definitions.
  • Creating a solution roadmap that includes MVPs, phasing plans, and managing dependencies with product releases.
  • Prioritizing deliverables based on strategic business objectives.
  • Working closely with product development teams to ensure software aligns with requirements.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks with delivery teams.
  • Partnering with Solution Directors to ensure cross-industry applicability of capabilities.
  • Facilitating the flow of innovative ideas from industry experts to delivery teams.
  • Supporting alignment efforts with Product Managers across various segments.
  • Assisting product marketing, sales, and industry verticals in product validation and go-to-market strategies.
  • Helping sales teams achieve established revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Conducting hands-on demonstrations of solutions for stakeholders.
  • Contributing to pricing and packaging strategies for products and solutions.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Over 8 years of experience engaging with enterprise and SMB clients across key industries, including aerospace, automotive, industrial machinery, and medical devices.
  • A minimum of 10 years in software product development or implementation.
  • At least 2 years in application software product management, including developing strategic visions and authoring product specifications.

Required Skills and Expertise:
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Expertise in PLM essentials such as CAD integrations and document management.
  • Experience in engineering and product development within the context of product lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to develop compelling content for solution enablement.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) is advantageous.
