Family Support Aide

Position Title: Case Aide - Supervised Visitation
Employment Type: Full-Time
Minimum Experience: Entry-level
Compensation Rate: $17.00-$18.00 Hourly
Overview:
As a vital member of the team, the Case Aide for Supervised Visitation plays a crucial role in supporting the Visitation Supervisors by facilitating transportation and assisting with various program-related tasks. The primary objective is to empower families towards self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with relevant regulations and agency policies.
- Engage in required training programs to enhance skills.
- Possess the legal and physical capability to operate a vehicle for transporting participants and necessary supplies.
- Provide assistance to the Visitation Supervisors and Team Lead in delivering supportive services as outlined in family service plans.
- Document and report the outcomes of activities to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
- Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Participate actively in team and agency meetings.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned and maintain mandatory office attendance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A valid driver's license.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience or training, preferably in human services or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software.
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances, including ACT 33 (Child Abuse) and ACT 34 (Criminal Background).
- Commitment to completing required training hours annually.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, with occasional travel required in various community settings. The role involves interaction with youth and families, necessitating a compassionate and understanding approach.
Physical Demands:
The position may require lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds and the ability to navigate various environments, including client homes.
