Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals in acquiring and maintaining skills to improve their daily living, domestic, adaptive, and socialization skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in developing and implementing personalized plans to achieve their goals
- Engage in activities with individuals to promote independence and community participation
- Maintain accurate records and reports of individual progress
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services
- Provide transportation and support to individuals in the community
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and insurance
