Summary:

As a member of the Employment Opportunity & Training Center team, you will assist Visit Supervisors in providing transportation and other program-related, non-professional duties. The objective is to support the SV Team in enhancing a family's ability to achieve self-sufficiency.

Duties:

• Familiarize yourself with relevant regulations and agency policies.

• Engage in prescribed training programs.

• Legally and physically operate a motor vehicle for participant transportation and for transporting supplies on behalf of the agency.

• Assist SV workers and the SV Team Lead by providing supportive services as outlined in family service plans.

• Report the outcomes of activities to the SV worker or the assigning entity (supervisor, director, etc.).

• Work evening and weekend hours as required.

• Basic computer skills are necessary.

• Participate in team and agency meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Office attendance is mandatory.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Education/Experience:
Valid driver's license. 1-2 years of related experience and/or training. Helpful experience includes human services, youth and family services, and working with at-risk populations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database software.

Certificates and Licenses:
Must have, or meet the requirements to obtain, current ACT 33 (Child Abuse) & 34 (Criminal Background) Clearances.

Must be able to obtain additional clearances as required.

Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Must annually complete all training hours required by the agency.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Traveling in various areas is often necessary. Local, regional, and occasional long-distance travel may be required. The ability to work with youth and families is essential.

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally transporting supplies/materials and must have the ability to navigate throughout the agency, the community, and within client homes.
