Role Summary
As the marketing lead, you will embody a passion for our mission and thrive in an early-stage startup environment. Your role will involve narrating the story of Summer Health to both consumers and B2B partners. This comprehensive marketing position requires on-site collaboration with our team and demands strategic thinking, execution, adaptability, and a commitment to our shared mission. You will spearhead, manage, and implement all facets of the company's marketing strategy and initiatives, working closely with various teams, including clinical and product departments, to engage both new and existing members. Additionally, you will support growth by developing a strategic marketing plan across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Summer Health brand by gaining a profound understanding of our consumers and their needs.
- Oversee responsibilities across brand strategy, community engagement, content creation, partnerships, performance metrics, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and social media.
- Define our content strategy and community initiatives, ensuring the right narratives reach the appropriate audiences through diverse channels.
- Implement ROI-positive market strategies across various channels to stimulate user growth.
- Lead a team of full-time and part-time contributors in content, social media, and paid marketing.
- Establish and execute lifecycle marketing strategies that promote retention through engagement and personalization.
- Make data-driven decisions and provide key marketing analyses to the business.
- Collaborate closely with the product team on market and customer research to guide business, product, and marketing strategies.
- Discover innovative ways to delight everyone who interacts with our brand.
- Foster a collaborative relationship between marketing and the broader organization.
Required Qualifications
- Deep customer focus: a thorough understanding of our customers and a commitment to finding new ways to reach and support them.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with proficiency in dashboards, reporting, and KPI measurement.
- 8+ years of marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an early-stage startup environment.
- Proven leadership capabilities with at least 2 years of management experience and a history of building high-performing teams in dynamic settings.
- Structured thinker with a demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable growth and marketing strategies.
- Exposure to various marketing disciplines: brand, product, growth, lifecycle, public relations, community engagement, social media, etc.
- Strong understanding of consumer insights and a customer-centric approach.
- Experience in collaborating with freelancers and agencies to optimize output.
- Effective communicator and collaborator who values feedback and ideas from team members.
