Role Summary
As the marketing leader, you will embody a strong commitment to our mission and thrive in an early-stage startup environment. Your role will involve articulating the narrative of Summer Health to both consumers and business partners. This comprehensive marketing position is based onsite and requires strategic thinking, execution, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit. You will spearhead, oversee, and implement all facets of the company's marketing strategy while closely collaborating with various teams, including clinical and product departments, to engage both new and existing members. Additionally, you will drive growth by establishing a strategic marketing framework across paid, owned, and earned channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the Summer Health brand by gaining a profound understanding of our consumers and their needs.
  • Oversee brand strategy, community engagement, content creation, partnerships, performance metrics, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and social media initiatives.
  • Define our content strategy and community outreach, ensuring the right narratives reach the appropriate audiences through diverse channels.
  • Implement ROI-positive go-to-market strategies across various channels to stimulate user growth.
  • Lead a team of full-time and part-time content creators, social media managers, and marketing professionals.
  • Establish and execute lifecycle marketing strategies that promote retention through engagement and personalization.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making and provide key marketing insights to the organization.
  • Collaborate with the product team on market research and customer insights to shape business, product, and marketing strategies.
  • Seek innovative ways to delight all interactions with our brand.
  • Foster a collaborative relationship between marketing and the broader organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Deep customer understanding and a passion for discovering inventive ways to connect with and support them.
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis, with experience in dashboards, reporting, and achieving KPIs.
  • Minimum of 8 years in marketing, including at least 3 years in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 2 years managing high-performing teams in a dynamic setting.
  • Structured thinker with a demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable growth and marketing strategies.
  • Exposure to various marketing domains: brand, product, growth, lifecycle, public relations, community engagement, and social media.
  • Strong grasp of consumer insights and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with freelancers and agencies for optimal results.
  • Excellent communicator who values feedback and input from team members.
