Position Overview

Role Summary:

We are in search of a strategic and seasoned Marketing Operations Director who will be instrumental in enhancing our brand visibility across multiple channels. This essential team member will manage our media initiatives, influencer partnerships, and social media platforms to optimize return on investment, elevate brand recognition, capture market share, cultivate key relationships, and engage with our varied customer demographic.

Adept at communication, the Marketing Operations Director will effectively guide cross-functional teams in support of new initiatives and product introductions for maximum impact. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about brand development, content generation, and possesses exceptional negotiation and communication capabilities. Familiarity with contract negotiations, pricing strategies, profitability, and sales contributions is essential. The candidate must collaborate effectively with Creative, Product Marketing, and eCommerce teams, while also fostering cross-departmental partnerships across Sales, Operations, and Finance. A proactive mindset for identifying future opportunities and delivering measurable returns on investment is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Oversight:

  • Design and execute innovative social media strategies to enhance follower engagement and brand visibility, while driving traffic and sales.
  • Supervise the management of all social media profiles, collaborating with our Brand Ambassador and Social Media Assistant Manager, as well as contractors and contributors to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with our brand voice.

Influencer Collaboration:

  • Identify and partner with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with our brand ethos and support our marketing objectives.
  • Negotiate agreements and manage influencer relationships, ensuring that content is consistent with marketing strategies.

Media Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive media strategies, incorporating digital, print, and broadcast channels.
  • Manage the creation and dissemination of press releases while maintaining relationships with media contacts.
  • Support company events, promotions, and trade shows, capturing highlights for media, website, blog, and social media platforms.
  • Oversee and manage external media agencies.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals within the Marketing & D2C division, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture.
  • Establish clear team objectives and performance indicators, conducting regular performance evaluations.

Brand Strategy Formulation:

  • Contribute to the overarching brand strategy for StoreBound's portfolio, ensuring consistency across all marketing avenues.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust marketing strategies as necessary.

Analytics and Performance Reporting:

  • Utilize analytical tools to assess campaign performance and return on investment.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding marketing activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing leadership, particularly in social media, influencer marketing, and media strategy.
  • Strong grasp of contemporary online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods sectors is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with numerical data and metrics.
