Our Approach
Unlike traditional physician practices, each Sage Health physician manages a patient panel of 400 or fewer, allowing for personalized care and collaboration with top specialists and hospitals in the area. Our focus is solely on maintaining the health of our seniors, as we operate under a global capitation budget provided by Medicare Advantage plans.

Position Summary
The Membership Outreach Specialist serves as an outside sales representative in the healthcare sector, tasked with generating leads among Medicare-eligible seniors and guiding them through the process of becoming patients at Sage Health. This role involves building relationships with senior citizens, local community partners, and independent brokers, as well as organizing community events to attract potential patients.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic monthly and quarterly sales plan to meet new patient acquisition goals.
  • Organize local community events such as health fairs and informational sessions to engage with Medicare-eligible seniors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with health plan agents, senior housing leaders, and community organizations.
  • Educate potential patients about our services and provide personalized tours of our facilities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to prospects, patients, and community partners.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with new patients to ensure satisfaction with our services.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings to share results and strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience with Medicare and Medicare Advantage is preferred.
  • Experience in selling to the senior population is highly desirable.
  • Strong consultative selling skills to build rapport and trust with potential customers.
  • Healthcare knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and driven to achieve income goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
  • Able to travel locally and regionally as needed.
