Position Summary
The Membership Outreach Specialist plays a crucial role in our organization as an outside sales representative focused on generating leads among Medicare-eligible seniors. This position is essential for converting potential patients into active members of Sage Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective monthly and quarterly sales strategies to meet new patient acquisition goals.
- Organize and manage community events, such as health fairs and informational sessions, to engage with the target audience of seniors aged 55 and above.
- Build and maintain relationships with local community partners, health plan agents, and senior service organizations.
- Educate potential patients about our services and provide personalized tours of our facilities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospects, patients, and community partners.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with new patients to ensure satisfaction with our services.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to share progress and strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience with Medicare and Medicare Advantage is preferred.
- Experience in engaging with the senior population is advantageous.
- Strong consultative selling skills to build rapport and trust with potential customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is highly preferred.
- High energy, self-motivated, and driven to achieve income goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
