Unlike traditional physician practices, our physicians manage a limited patient panel, allowing for personalized care and collaboration with top specialists and hospitals. Our focus is solely on maintaining the health of our senior patients through a global capitation budget provided by Medicare Advantage plans.
Position Summary
The Membership Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in our organization as an outside sales representative. This position is responsible for:
- Generating sales leads from potential Medicare-eligible seniors and guiding them through the patient onboarding process.
- Building and nurturing relationships with senior citizens, local community partners, and independent brokers.
- Organizing community events to engage seniors and drive interest in our services.
Primary Responsibilities
In collaboration with the local Sales Manager, the Membership Outreach Specialist will:
- Develop and execute effective monthly and quarterly sales strategies to meet new patient acquisition goals.
- Plan and implement local community events such as health fairs and partnerships with local organizations to reach underserved seniors aged 55 and above.
- Generate leads through active prospecting and maintaining relationships within the community.
- Educate potential patients about our services during community events and facilitate personalized tours of our health centers.
- Deliver exceptional sales and customer service to prospects, patients, and community partners.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with new patients to ensure satisfaction with our services.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to share results and strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; experience with Medicare and Medicare Advantage is preferred.
- Experience working with the senior population is advantageous.
- Strong consultative selling skills to build rapport and trust with potential customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, with Salesforce experience being highly preferred.
- High energy, self-motivation, and a desire to manage personal income.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish being a strong plus.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Able to travel locally and regionally as required.
