Therapeutic Partnerships at AbbVie: At AbbVie, we believe that collaboration and partnerships are key to addressing the most pressing health challenges. As a Director of Therapeutic Partnerships, you will play a key role in defining pipeline and partnering strategies for AbbVie's Immunology therapeutic area. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to develop and execute business development and pipeline strategies, oversee AbbVie's Immunology alliances, and drive executive-level discussions to influence complex business decisions. Your responsibilities will include administering and developing the Global Alliances Immunology team, leveraging your scientific and business acumen to drive alignment on the overarching therapeutic area strategy, and making robust recommendations to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced scientific degree (Ph.D., PharmD, or MD) with a focus on Immunology and 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical development or commercialization. Strong executive presence, business acumen, critical reasoning, and the ability to frame and communicate complex recommendations and decisions are highly valued. Experience working with external partners, managing large projects within a complex matrixed organization, and dealing with various business development deal models are essential skills for this role. The estimated salary for this role is around $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
