They are currently seeking a motivated entry-level professional with a background in engineering and relevant experience in inside sales or customer support.

Position Overview: The selected candidate will serve as the primary sales contact for customers, addressing both technical inquiries and customer service needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing essential technical insights to facilitate the engineering team's understanding of client requirements.
  • Prepare product proposals and deliver technical assistance throughout the sales process.
  • Manage customer service elements associated with sales transactions.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer RFPs to interpret specifications and create technical proposals for new programs and devices.
  • Respond to general and technical inquiries regarding products.
  • Oversee order entry and ensure maintenance of program details.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to troubleshoot technical issues and guide users through solutions.
  • Coordinate customer interactions with the engineering team as necessary.
  • Review and approve quotes and orders.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding sales opportunities.
  • Support sales representatives with both technical and general inquiries.
  • Assist the National Sales Manager in refining inside sales processes, including quotations and technical training resources.
  • Identify and report potential product development opportunities.
  • Provide secondary phone support for program customers and technical assistance as needed.
  • Help with shipping documentation and order tracking for specific customer segments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, applications engineering, or customer service within a technical environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MRP systems, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and a solid understanding of technical sales and customer service.

Additional Information:

Only candidates located in the Buffalo, NY area will be considered. Due to the nature of the business, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders.
