The Customer Solutions Engineer is essential in providing exceptional support to our clients through on-site service, technical training, and proactive maintenance. Core Responsibilities:

- Field Service & Travel: Regularly visit customer and vendor sites within the designated area and across the United States to deliver technical services and support.

- Technical Training: Conduct on-site training sessions for customers on the operation, repair, and upkeep of Voltguard Utilities products, ensuring they are proficient in using and maintaining the equipment.

- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Partner closely with engineering teams, technicians, and stakeholders at customer or vendor locations to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance services at customer locations to optimize equipment uptime, aligning maintenance schedules with production requirements and equipment specifications.

- Customer Support: Provide prompt and effective responses to inquiries from both internal and external customers, including troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and technical support.

- Sales Support: Work collaboratively with sales teams and internal departments to understand customer needs, enhance service delivery, and identify opportunities for product enhancements.

- Issue Resolution: Address technical challenges efficiently, delivering quick solutions and escalating complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.

- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive service records, generate service reports, and communicate insights or recurring issues to relevant departments for ongoing improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

Demonstrated experience in a field service engineering capacity, preferably within the utilities, energy, or industrial equipment sectors.

Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, renewable energy products, and associated equipment.

Ability to conduct technical training and convey complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in remote or high-pressure situations.

Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips and occasional extended stays.

Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools, maintenance software, and CRM systems.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

Valid driver's license and the ability to meet travel requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • Associates degree in electronics or equivalent military experience required.
  • At least 2 years of related field service experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
