Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Dispatcher to enhance our operations.

Position Summary:

The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in the effective allocation of technicians to service calls. This position involves adhering to established protocols to ensure that all scheduled appointments are managed efficiently. The primary responsibilities include confirming appointments and ensuring timely arrivals of technicians.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to achieving outstanding results with a positive and proactive demeanor.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our range of products and services.
  • Effectively communicate and summarize information to relevant parties.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Work independently within established guidelines and complete tasks without the need for follow-up.
  • Analyze historical data to optimize technician assignments based on performance and skill set.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while handling interruptions from various communication channels.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in service appointments and motivate technicians to enhance performance.
  • Oversee a designated service area to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of appointments.
  • Clearly communicate expectations and adhere to processes, even when faced with challenges.
  • Maintain attention to detail by monitoring work orders for accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of diverse Dispatch experience.
  • Familiarity with Service Titan is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer use with a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of making sound decisions and resolving issues with composure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in data entry and computer literacy.
  • Able to interpret maps and navigate service areas effectively.

Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to sit and use hands for typing and handling tasks.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with team members and clients.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
  • Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, as well as depth perception.
