Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Dispatcher. The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively manage the dispatching of technicians to their service calls. Dispatchers will follow established protocols to perform their duties, which include coordinating daily schedules for technicians and ensuring timely arrival at appointments. Key objectives include confirming service appointments and optimizing technician schedules.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays during peak seasons.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to achieving results with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our service offerings and products.
  • Summarize and communicate information effectively.
  • Meet productivity standards while ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Work independently within established guidelines and complete tasks without needing follow-up.
  • Analyze past service data to assign the most suitable technician for each appointment.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently while managing interruptions from calls and emails.
  • Encourage and motivate technicians by communicating opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee a designated service area to maximize appointment outcomes.
  • Clearly communicate expectations and adhere to processes, even when faced with challenges.
  • Pay close attention to detail, identifying and correcting errors in work orders as necessary.
  • Commit to delivering outstanding customer service.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a dispatch role.
  • Familiarity with Service Titan is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer use and capable of typing at least 40 words per minute.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in making sound decisions and resolving issues diplomatically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data entry and computer literacy.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to sit and use hands for typing and handling tasks.
  • Must have effective communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, or bend.
  • May need to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision.
