POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Care Coordinator serves as a vital link between homeowners and trade partners, ensuring the effective diagnosis, scheduling, and execution of warranty service tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversee and coordinate repair work by trade partners in residences post-delivery to homeowners.
  2. Arrange inspections with homeowners, evaluate standard warranty claims, and ensure all service requests are addressed within a week.
  3. Deliver precise and timely updates to the Customer Care Manager regarding progress and scope of work.
  4. Foster positive relationships with homeowners, providing knowledgeable, prompt, and professional service.
  5. Assess trade partner and product performance, relaying ongoing feedback to the Customer Service Manager concerning workmanship and material quality.
  6. Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager on special initiatives as required.
  7. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  8. Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all service requests and work performed.
  9. Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in residential, customer care, or construction fields is required.
  2. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, although equivalent work experience will be considered.
  3. Consistent attendance and punctuality relative to the daily work schedule are mandatory.
  4. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  7. Capability to effectively manage confrontational situations while maintaining professionalism.
  8. Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  9. Ability to follow directions from supervisors and adhere to workplace rules and procedures.
  10. Willingness to accept constructive feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position is primarily sedentary, requiring occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, moving, and carrying office supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Finger dexterity is necessary for operating a computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone equipment.
