Regional Sales Development Manager

Job Overview
The Regional Sales Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and providing innovative solutions for customer needs related to CNC machine tools. This role involves managing prospective accounts and maintaining current customer relationships, promoting company products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bond with Customers: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Sales Promotion: Promote and sell company products, offering technical support as needed.
- Collaboration and Support: Work with Applications Engineers to assess customer equipment needs, develop proposals, and present them to meet customer requirements.
- Customer Satisfaction: Conduct regular visits to customer facilities to review engineering and service issues, identify new sales opportunities, and resolve complex engineering problems at customer sites.
- Territory Planning: Submit weekly territory planning and management reports, along with expense reports according to company policy.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic and tactical plans to meet annual sales goals, collaborating with engineering teams for product demonstrations.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or an Associate's Degree with 5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in machine tool environments.
Work Environment:
Primarily in an office setting, with periodic exposure to manufacturing environments that may include noise, electricity, chemicals, and heavy machinery.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent travel, vehicle operation, and desk work involving computers and phones.
- Periodic repetitive movements of the feet, legs, hands, arms, and torso.
- Occasional bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, and lifting objects.
