Overview of System Goals and Objectives:

  • Identifies and articulates system goals and objectives by comprehensively understanding the healthcare systems and user needs.

System Design and Validation:

  • Develops system specifications, oversees system architecture across multiple applications, and executes system testing protocols.
  • Anticipates challenges, proposes solutions to complex issues with appropriate priorities, and communicates resolutions to operational stakeholders.
  • Defines detailed criteria for system selection based on functional and technical specifications.

Collaboration and Relationship Management:

  • Builds strong relationships with organizational stakeholders (financial, clinical, and operational) throughout the specification, design, and testing stages; conveys ideas clearly and effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field/clinical specialization (Essential).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with various healthcare clinical systems such as Epic, GE, McKesson, Siemens (Essential).
    • 1 year of experience in a clinical environment (Preferred).
    • 1 year of experience with the implementation of EMR software applications (Preferred).
  • Certifications: EC - Epic Certification (Preferred).
