Site Support Specialist (Patient Supply Chain Management)

Department: Patient Supply Chain Management

The Site Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the organization, communication, and execution of Adaptimmune's processes and systems at clinical sites and commercial centers of excellence. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, the development and delivery of training, as well as operational support, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues. This position collaborates with various Adaptimmune departments, including Clinical, Clinical Site Operations, and Information Management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitates training and implementation of necessary tools, such as Vineti, to support treatment processes.
  2. Provides ongoing site support and help desk assistance following system rollouts.
  3. Contributes to the design and dissemination of training materials for relevant systems, including Chain of Custody and Chain of Identity.
  4. Acts as the primary liaison for inquiries and issues related to the use of Adaptimmune's processes, systems, and services, coordinating resolutions with appropriate teams.
  5. Ensures that site training documentation is accurately captured, created, and maintained within designated Adaptimmune systems.
  6. Collaborates with clinical sites and Adaptimmune teams to identify, document, and implement improvement opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with logistics and supply chains in cell and gene therapy.
  • Familiarity with both early-stage and late-stage/commercial pharmaceutical or biotech companies.
  • Background in treatment operations.
